Responsible for the day to day running of all IT systems and platforms within Japan.Working closely with the business heads and users,you will need to understand the business processes and day to day challenges faced,then help provide technical guidance and advice in finding the right solutions to meet their needs.
●KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
・Fosters a business-oriented culture and mindset driven by continual service improvement
techniques.
・Build local IT strategies and roadmaps ensuring the technology demands meet the longterm needs of the business,whilst aligning to the broader global IT and enterprise strategies.
・Working closely with the business and provide input to the divisional heads on actions required to improve IT services for their business lines.
・Works with business operations teams to ensure good coordination of IT changes without impacting business processes.
・Provides oversight of all IT operations and support users on all systems and platforms.
・Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities with a focus on suitability for integration with the existing IT operations and business environment.
・Review and investigate new technologies,providing direction to the business on what emerging IT technologies could be introduced and integrated.
・Manage all the risk-related activities of the IT environment and projects,including budgeting,planning,testing,reporting,and recommending appropriate remediation measures.
・Create,disseminate and (as required)update documentation of identified IT controls,governance,and risks management.
・Accountable for the delivery of IT Service Management processes and ensure IT adherence to all phases of the ITSM life cycle,including major incident management and to drive IT Operational Excellence.
・Bachelor’s degree required
・IT and business/industry with experience in either IT Project Management or Business Analysis domain
・Preferably experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams,influencing key stakeholders,across the organization and within complex contexts
・Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
・Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT operations in complex and dynamic environment.
・Exceptional leadership skills,with the ability to communicate a vision that aligns to the group IT and business strategy
・Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role
・Excellent service management planning and execution skills
・Experience in budget planning and financial management
・Success in leveraging both traditional practices,such as IT service management,as well as emerging methods,such as DevOps,that are optimized for agility
・Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time,and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied
・Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that support business objectives
・Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
・Familiar with Office 365 (SharePoint /OneDrive /Team)would be an advantage
・Basic accounting knowledge an advantage
