This position is accountable for leading, managing and providing direction to our main service. Principle duties and responsibilities include:
・Responsible for maintaining the inbound client portfolio, including
- having effective communications with client and this company oversea leading team
- being proactive in identifying the compliance, accounting and payroll needs of clients
- leading meeting/conference call with clients
・Demonstrate effective communication with upstream and downstream team members to ensure end-to-end processes are well-thought out to address customer and regulatory requirements.
・Participate/take the lead in new client proposals with the team and integrate new clients into the business
・Work closely with the firm’s marketing team to improve market recognition of our service
●Core Requirements(External)
You must have solid working experience dealing with clients at the management level either from an accountancy outsourcing/consultancy firm, or Finance department of the multinational companies. You must have sound technical knowledge and experience in GAAP, accounting solutions and management accounts. Willingness to learn Japanese payroll and social security system would be an advantage.
Educational requirements:
・Basic educational qualifications
・CPA preferred but not required
●Specific skills and abilities:
・Experience in either
- a public accounting/outsourcing/consulting firm to offer accounting services to multiple clients; or
- Finance department of Japanese affiliated companies of multinational enterprise to being responsible for the periodic reporting.
・Strong technical financial accounting (GAAP) knowledge
・Strong operational finance knowledge
・Basic knowledge of Japanese payroll and social insurance system, but not required
・Computer literacy and word processing skills are essential
・Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships internally (with colleagues and staff members), as well as externally (with clients and business contacts)
・English: Native level, Japanese: Conversational level"
