●This role is responsible for local executions for all levels of administrations of human resources programs such as Recruitment Planning,Performance review,Training,HR services/administrations,Employee Relations(ER)and so on,getting align with directions of other local HR functions,not only own site.HRM works at assigned logistics hub site and provide guidance,consultation and professional advice to all internal customers on these programs at the network level.HRM guides and consults the internal customers with proper direction with additional support and advice as a partner.This role is required to communicate with JP Leadership team to make sure of JP business growth by sharing/standardizing/leveraging global/local standards and minimum requirement.This position will own some of global/local projects to achieve business goals.
●In addition to above,HRM manages HR Business Partner etc.and HRM has to focus on Hire &Develop the Best according to fast paced business growth.Organizational roadmap design and Situational Leadrship is key to be successful.
●Also,it is required to proactively identify the improvement areas at business,and then deliver the solution in HR field.HRM also needs to go to assist Operations managers on resolving ER issues at the local network.In case that there is a risk that legal problem would happen,HRM/HRBP are required to have an appropriate communication/review with the local HR and the Legal team and then escalate to Sr.HR Manager in order to deliver a solution to that.HRM/HRBP should also take a role to become employees’advocates and be responsible for reporting voices of employees related to ER issues into JP Leadership Team.
●HRM is expected to demonstrate Hire and Develop the Best and also perform a strong expertise in HR field by improving/simplify existing HR processes/procedures and proactively introducing a new technology in order for HR practice to be much more effective and efficient.To realize these inventions and simplifications,this position is expected to perform hands-on HR activities to get trust from customers,and this position is also expected to have successful HR background to handle ER issues in an appropriate way based on the Japanese Labor Law.
●The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree.Native level for writing/speaking/reading Japanese and the business level English will be required.
●This role has wide coverage in HR functions.The ideal candidate will have been working experience as HR Manager or have experience in a few different HR functions.Highly focused HR specialist,(such as Compensation and Benefit expertise)might not be suitable for this position,while any candidates who has a few specialized areas of strength and look for opportunity to expand areas of experience is more acceptable.
●Preferred qualification for this position is working for the same/close industries/functions like Logistics,Manufacturing,Customer Services,Retail business,and other industries/functions.Leveraging such experience in same industries will accelerate candidates to understand the business needs and come up with the speed of this company’s growth.Working experience for 100 or more employees with employment complexities or for global/cross-cultural industries and company will be a strong plus.
